Hmm. The 0.9.0 release seems to be from 2003 and doesn't compile with
GIMP 2.2.13. Is there a more recent

I am trying to create some backgrounds for webpagesand they must have that
"flattened" look. That's the only way I can describe it. They look like the
contrast has been reduced and the page brightened overall. Considering all the
tools available in GIMP, one of them must be the one , but I

As he has repeatedly stated, the problem is under FF/Linux. There are many
things in which FF/Win FF/Max and FF/Linux are different. It looks like
FF/Linux isn't up to date with Gamma correction for some reason

Your problem is NOT a FF/Linux issue.

Looked AOK to me this morning - the link doesn't seem to be coming up now.

Actually - since the file and web page itself is OK,
for some (... some people can see it correctly)
then using simple logic, the problem isn't to do with
The GIMP ...
If there is something wrong with the file then no one
should be able to see it correctly ... unless the
display process is correct

I found this message in the archive, and joined the list. I have the same
problem exactly: my tablet works, but the mouse is ignored when it's on the
canvas area (only).
I found a workaround: In Preferences-->Input Devices, reset settings to
defaults. Restart GIMP like it tells you to. Then, in
