Hello,
I have a tiff file that I would like to make smaller. But after having
done the transformation with the transform tool the quality of the
picture is quite bad. The same transformation looks fine if the
original image is in jpg format for example.
Is there a way to have a good looking small

I am using a wacom serial tablet on SuSE 9 under KDE 3.1.4. The pressure
sensitivity works when I first start the gimp, 1.2.5, but stops working after
an arbitrary amount of time. Restarting gimp does not remedy the problem. I
