I have black screen. Monitor lamp is green (ie. is on). Computer seeses hanged.
After that booted from live CD, and returned last changes but still
have the same problem.
Is there any hit to solve this problem.

I'm trying to use HAL91 floppy distro.
Its tar also doesn't support '-j' option, but has bunzip.
So, 1st I bzunipped and the using tar.

That 3Com Boomerang works under Win98. So I put it there.
And the one 3Com Cyclone from Win98 pc works fine for gentoo.
