I have a Bonaire gpu, which has legacy support using the amdgpu kernel module.
I currently use the Radeon dri module with radeonsi mesa drivers and am quite
happy. But gentoo being gentoo I thought I'd give the amdgpu a go for the fun
of it.
Tried a few variations and keep coming up with a bla

Complains of missing wayland_client.h
Will future versions of vulkan-loader require wayland also, or will there be a

just a heads up for anyone else that likes messing around with vulkan.

Has anyone managed to get suspend/resume to work on diskless machines using NFS
as the root?
Suspend works like normal, but resume hard locks, can't seem to get any error's
or anything as it's not sending to any log files naturally.
I have 3 machines currently running this setup, just trying t

If you want to resume from NFS, you will need an initramfs that correctly
passes the swap device for resuming.
I would try the same method as resuming from encrypted swap.

Have you checked the power supply?
I don't use a diskless setup but last year (nah, maybe many years ago) I
had this strange resume problem after suspend. As in, I'd wake the
machine and it'd sit there with a blinking text cursor in text mode,
quite stuck. I am pretty sure I posted about it on the
For anyone following or just plain interested, I've solved the issue with
diskless root over NFS not being able to resume correctly after suspending.

Using 4.2 has speed improvements but results in hardlocking on wakeup.

Well, you're probably gonna have to spam us some more info.
On the working knoppix boot, spam lspci showing what driver is loaded. then
spam it on ubuntu to verify if it's loaded there as well.

Remove the date.so it becomes
