In xine the screen stays blue and I just hear the sound of the videos.
If I change the video driver from xv to opengl I get some moving stripes

Hi,
so this is the good part:
User can see it with mtp-detect and mtp-files lists the files on the device.
User can send files using mtp-sendtr

Hi all,
I have a problem with external devices.
When I insert a CD/DVD into my DVD-drive I get the KDE dialog asking if I want
to open a window ...
If I klick yes, (or try to mount the CD from konquerors media:/ site) I get

Hi,
when I rebooted my PC yesterday my X did not come up (I made an error
with etc-update after the resent baselayout upgrade and removed the
DISPLYMANAGER setting). After fixing that my X came up, but only at
640x480.
During the last days I did not change anything connected to X on my

Hello all,
I am trying to install mldonkey (p2p) on my system (amd64, Gentoo 2005.1).
But this is as far as it gets:
arnor ~ # emerge net-p2p/mldonkey
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) net-p2p/mldonkey-2.6.4-r2 to /
>>> md5 files ;-) mldonkey-2.5.21-r2.ebuild

Hello all,
I am running mldonkey as a daemon.
With this everybody can use mldonkey. I want to restrict the usage of mldonkey
to specific users. Is this possible in any way?
Thanks
Christian

I just found the solution on the forums (the idiot at this keyboard only

Hello all,
I cannot write CDs anymore.
The only thing i changed lately was an upgrade to cdrtools-2.01-r3 from r2
some days ago. Now nearly all attempts to burn an audio CD end with an error.
After some of the mistakes (using k3b) I searched the forum and found some
postings on problems writing
Hello all,
I installed KDE 3.4 on my machine (mostly using the single packages not the
meta packages).
Most is running fine, but I cannot install some parts (ark and kde-i18n).
When I try to merge them I get the following error:
>>> emerge (1 of 1) kde-base/ark-3.4.0 to /
>>> md5 files ;-) C
