I'm looking at getting wine going for a Windows-only app. Some

1) The latest ebuild wine-1.6_rc4 (unstable) apparently should have the
"prelink" USE flag. http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/prelink-howto.xml
talks about a cron job to run prelink every so often, which seems like

no, i don't think that's the problem.
the problem is that with GPT disks you need a BIOS Boot Partition since
they don't have a MBR. is that correct?

hi, i just booted my "new" system. migration using rsync was smooth. i had
to fight a little with grub2 and gpt, but now it seems everything is
working fine.
the system has been up just a few minutes, so i haven't had time to do
much. but i tried eix-sync and it seemed to me it went much faster.

media collection. PORTDIR is /var/portage so portage files are on zfs too.
