Hi,
I'm getting "Connection refused" when trying to connect to

Hi,
is there a bug to which one could attach ebuilds which require dependency
changes to adapt to the new postgresql packaging scheme?
I already have some in my local overlay which I would like to share.
Thanks...

nk the
external package is something different.
I'd say the only difference is the version. Don't know how frequently
the in-kernel module code is updated, though.

le,
because the mechanism for creating the mappuings has changed and the
dmcrypt initscript just printed a message that it will only work with
baselayout 2. But that was _way_ to late.
Please hard mask cryptsetup as long as baselayout 2 is, or fix it to work
with bl 1, too.

So my question is: Would it be a good idea to generally turn GCC into split
ebuilds (like KDE/X.org)? Pros/Cons?

Hi,
I recently switched to GCC 4.0.2. A handful of packages didn't (re-)compile
during emerge -e system and emerge -e world. Is there a big GCC 4 related
bug in bugzilla where I can report those problems or should I write one
report for each package?
Thanx...

However, there already exists fix_libtool_files.sh, which does the same
after GCC upgrade. Could this be enhanced to also handle the KDE upgrade
case?

I'm also interested in this since I'm searching for a way to install
software into an AFS filesystem for easy distribution. But this has special
requirements (rw path vs. ro path). Of course, I'd like to do it the

Anything else I can do before I commit it to bugzilla?
