Okay... two more proposals, on a more serious note now:
virtual/realpath: the realpath utility (app-admin/realpath) is used as
replacement for "readlink -f" on systems not using coreutils (mainly FreeBSD,
Darwin, DragonFly... OpenBSD has readlink -f it seems), but it's already
provided by the f

The agenda included Gentoo's participation in Google's Summer of Code
and an update on portage gpg signing. In the former case, Gentoo has
applied to participate, and assuming we get one of the handful of
remaining slots then ge

That was what I gathered. You would need to speak with Daniel Ostrow,
however, to get the exact details.
So
there's already a bug open in bugzilla about this ... no point in posting to

I was planning on attending OSCON this year. I'm not quite sure what my
time schedule will be like since I'm going for work, but I'm sure I

Yah, I've been trying to get information on that, I say call the booth
organizing people at O'Reilly and ask them. Someo
Hello,
I have decided to use app-cdr/dvdrtools rather than
app-cdr/cdrecord-prodvd to burn my DVDs because app-cdr/dvdrtools comes
with a GPL2 license. However, the last stable version in portage is
0.1.6 and this version can't use ATA devices without SCSI emulation

Hi all,
I've been talking to some X.Org folks about sharing an OSCON [1] booth
with us. OSCON is in Portland, OR, July 24-28, and the exhibit hall is
open Wednesday and Thursday (26-27). This would help alleviate any
short-staffing either group has, and likely attract more attention to

Yes, and they are most likely upstream bugs. Two things to do before
posting a bug:

Hey all,
lmctl's upstream is dead, and its fork is now called lomoco (supporting
new mice etc)
