hi,
I knew about this project a long time ago. SeaTunnel has solved many pain
points of data integration . I'm very happy to help SeatTunnel start the
incubation journey.

Hi Mingyu,
I have adjust the release procedure of ShenYu to avoid this problem in the
future.
Maybe the new procedure [1] will also work for Doris.

Hi Lorin,
I just looked into the community vote thread. Is this thread complete?
Juan had asked question about license, and I can't find the following
answer.

Hi,
It is great to see that DolphinScheduler's PMC takes an active role in the
SeaTunnel project to help as Sheng mentioned. Data integration is a painful
part of data pipelines and good to have many alternatives.
Proposal looks good to me and I am +1 for further process.
Kind Regards,

Hi, Yonglun
Thanks for your reply!
We have checked the license issue and the result is ok. And then with the 4
binding votes, we completed the vote thread.
Apologize for the mistake that I have not reported the result at the voting
thread, and thanks again for your guidance!

Hi,
If I am not mistaken, the previous name of SeaTunnel was waterdrop.
We have used SeaTunne in the company's big data production system.
SeaTunne has greatly improved the performance of data integration.
Proposal looks good to me and I am +1 (binding) for further process.

Hi Sebb,
Google found the announcement mails, for example [1] and [2].
As for Ricardo: he is indeed not a committer (yet) but an advisor to the
project. His insights as an educator have been very valuable and is in the
process of becoming a committer. Our mentor Julian informed us that (and I

Not sure how I missed those.
However, AFAICT they were not announced on general@incubator nor on
any of the podling lists.

We're simply following the advice given here and by our mentors. We didn't
send an announcement mail in the beginning and then we did based on your
valuable feedback. If we need to copy the announcement of our releases to
other mailing lists we can easily do so.

Hi Calvin,
Thank you for spotting the issue, with the community we reviewed the code
and we found the issue of naming in other places too. We fix it and also we

Actually, I take this back. There was an open VOTE thread for a while back
which has two VOTE's.
I'm reinvigorating it with the goal of inviting the (still active community
memmber) to be PMC and Committer.
Thanks

Hi,

Do I get it correctly that the announcements on the users and dev lists are
mainly advice for future releases?
There's not a lot we can do about previous releases at this point, there
doesn't seem to be any documentation about release announcements, and this
feedback was never brought up when we we
Yes, the project name was changed from Waterdrop recently.
