Hi IPMC
Is there any concern left before initializing the vote? I hope we have
addressed most before the start.
I can see the Seata project is open to learning more about the ASF
culture in the incubating process.
It is not perfect and fully compatible with ASF yet, this is the point
of the whole
Hi Zhiyuan Lei
I have added you as an initial committer, and listed as Tencent on the
Affiliations part.
Welcome to the project community.
To Min Ji, the proposal updated.

Zhiyuan Lei, welcome to join as an initial committer! We look
forward to your greater contributions during the incubation period.
Hi, Sheng Wu. I think we need to make a modification to the initial
committer list section in the proposal, adding "Zhiyuan Lei" to the
list.

Hi,
In the proposal, you mention having added people to the committer team. How
many people have you added and what were their company affiliations since
making the project open-source? From the proposal, it seems only people
affiliated with Alibaba and Ant Group have been made committers? Is t

This is quite a high committer bar and could exclude people from contributing
It is necessary for me to explain the community roles in Seata. The Seata
community includes roles of maintainer, committer, and contributor. In the
actual operation of the community, the committer role in the Seata
community is similar to the PMC (Project Management Committee) member role
in Apach
Hi, I am a committer of Seata:
https://seata.io/en/docs/developers/developers_dev/ name:leizhiyuan
My main contributions are implementing full support for the protobuf
protocol in Seata, fixing multiple bugs, making some code optimizations,
and providing support for user usage.
I am very happy

I have the same question as Huxing Zhang.
I remember when apache shenyu joined the incubator, the init committer
list, and there was a discussion about that as well.
Maybe it's a way to get the project changed to work the apache way.
Is there a public place to see these (github issue or else)?
Hi
It's a very interesting project and proposal.
As Seata is already an Open Source project for a while, why going to
an ASF project now ?
The idea is to grow the community and/or to have an open governance ?
Just curious :)
Thanks,

Hi everyone,
I am Ji Min, the founder of the Seata open source community. Since its open

During this period, many developers have contributed to the community.
Based on their contributions, we have formed a team of developers [
Hi,
I have been following the Seata project for years and have witnessed
the project's growth. I am glad to see Seata joining the apache
community, and happy to be mentor of the seata project to help seata
going through the incubation process.
I have a question about the initial comitters. Lookin
Hi Incubator
I would like to propose a new project to the ASF incubator - Seata.
Seata[1] is an open-source distributed transaction solution that
delivers high-performance and easy-to-use distributed transaction
services under a microservices architecture.
This project is owned by Alibaba and Ant
