The common way to track common ground planes seems to be to place a
jumper between the planes so that the netlist can be sane. This
requires a component to be placed on one of the outer layers of the
board, which is a bit of an annoyance. Is there any other way of doing
this? Maybe some kind of hac
Hi Andrzej,
Thank you very much for the warm words.
If you do not mind, could you please send me result of
ngscope -v
It should tell wxWidget version against which it was compiled. Also,
could you please send me what exactly exception was generated and what
file you did use as a test.
Thanks
Alex,
I just wanted to say that I'm watching your project with interest and
that I don't consider ngscope "yet another waveform viewer". If you
could bring it to a usable state it would be very useful tool for my
own work. I've tried it but it throws an exception when loading
simulation results (u

Over the years several waveform projects have been tossed around
on this list:
gwavehttp://gwave.sourceforge.net/
gtkwave http://gtkwave.sourceforge.net/
KJWaves
Built with the help of the latest SVN of gwave's libspicefile (sp2sp)
utility, I use an in-house system to read simulation data into python
as a numpy array with attributes. Data files are translated with
sp2sp to the numpy np.save()/load() ".npy" format and read in as
mem-mapped arrays to gracefu

Hi Kaimartin,
I did not saw satisfactory analog viewer for ngspice. Could you please
send me a link or project name? My goal was to have viewer for ngspice,
which I use for IC design, with all the specific requirements for this
field. Thus I suit ngsope for this - analyzes ngspice waveforms, n

Just curious: Why are there so many projects for viewers of simulation
data? I'd personally see the more immediate need in a better integration
of simulation w

Hello!
Well, I have trouble gnetlist (and in turn gsch2pcb as well) processing
project with "flat" or common refdefs across all schematics.
That is... I have several symbols with 'source' attribute in top level
schem. Each source is unique (copy), and to minimize components
