It looks like your terminating double quote is not the same as the
opening one. How are they encoded on your system?

This is the way C++ works. The copy constructor must be available.
(The compiler doesn't have to actually call it, but it must be
available.)

Its a DUP, but a different case I also did not think of. The P descriptor
requires special casing and that is what is getting us here.
I will commit a fix shortly.

The problem arose due to a confusion about different installed versions
of the library libiconv. After disentangling those, compilation works again.
