This is Maedeh Khalilian, a master student at Shiraz University of
Technology.
I have ubuntu 18.04 LTS installed on my laptop. I have already installed
Freesurfer package but it is the version for CentOS.
I wonder if I can use it with ubuntu.

I tried 3 subjects ,it dies at the same step ,and it stops there all the time
even 3 days. No error reported here.

Hello Maedeh,
I recall building Freesurfer on Ubuntu 16.04, but I don’t have access to that
machine right now. I will check to see if I have binaries I can send along,
and if so, you could try running them on Ubuntu 18.

basically work on Ubuntu, if you want to try building it form source; the
instructions there list Ubuntu 14.

I am running the connectivity analysis (seed to whole brain), and when I run
selxavg command, I get this error:
ERROR: time points in

exceed nframes (488)
and the time points do not exceed the num
what is your TR?

Each entry in the TPEF is the time in seconds of the frame you want to
exclude. So, time=480 means frame 600 > your number of time points.

I know this is not an error but just a comment. But may I know what this
means:
"*key nSliceGroups unrecognized, line 11, skipping"*
I tried to look for line 11 in matlab scripts but they are mainly commented
out.
