Dear all, I am running into some problems with tksurfer in the x86_64 dev release (oct 03). Whenever I attempt to load a group descriptor file the program quits. Below is the command line output. Any idea what might be happening? Thanks, Sasha surfer: current subjects dir: /data/final_surfs_3

yes i already had the file. the one you sent me seemed to be a newer version though, so i ran paint-sess using that, but it gives the same error message. jane In message <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Bruce Fischl <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > hmmm, do you have it? If not, I've attached a copy. > > cheers

Are you loading the GDF file from the menu interface, or from a commandline tool? Does tksurfer run correctly before you load the file? Does it run correctly for other subjects, and with other GDF files? On Tue, Jan 03, 2006 at 09:29:30AM -0500, Sasha Wolosin wrote: > Dear all, > I am running i

I am loading the GDF file from the menu interface. Tksurfer runs correctly before loading the file, including when I load an overlay, but it quits immediately after loading any GDF file. >>> Kevin Teich <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >>> Are you loading the GDF file from the menu interface, or from a com

Hi, I'm following up on an earlier email about the mri_ca_normalize step of autorecon2. I am getting an error while running autorecon2 in the developmental freesurfer version on tkmeg at the nmr center. The command I ran was: margo> and the output error is below. My directory is /space/lucy/2

Margo, In looking at the directory: /autofs/space/lucy_002/users/margo/subjects/avm004/mri/ it appears the file norm.mgz does not exist, which accounts for the error running autorecon2. Normally, the file norm.mgz is created in the autorecon1 stage, so I'm not sure why it wasn't created, but

Acutally, the autorecon flags require that the subcortical segmentation be done (ie, you can't use -nosubcortseg with -autorecon) Nick Schmansky wrote: Margo, In looking at the directory: /autofs/space/lucy_002/users/margo/subjects/avm004/mri/ it appears the file norm.mgz does not exis

try clicking in the image windown and hitting the 'i' key. This will turn on automatic intensity normalization. Vasanth Pappu wrote: Hi, I am using tkregister2 to register two perfusion volumes. I can adjust the brightness of the movable volume, but don't know how to adjust brightness fo

[Freesurfer] .sulc in tksurfer

Hi, Does the 'threshold midpoint' value in tksurfer's curvature display control correspond to values in the .sulc file (assuming the .sulc file is loaded), or are they arbitrary values? For example, if I set the value to .50, does this make all vertices with a .sulc value of .50 or less lighter

Hi Bruce, I'm trying to extract thickness for sulci and gyri separately. From what I understand, positive .sulc values suggest sulci and negative .sulc values suggest gyri. I'd like to play around with this distinction (e.g., call everything with a .sulc value < .35 'gyral'), and am wandering if
