[Freesurfer] qdec visualization problems

2013-11-12 Thread Daniel Wakeman
Hi, I am having trouble running qdec over an NX session. I downloaded a FreeSurfer installation (5.3.0) to a network drive (/cluster/neuromind/dwakeman/software/freesurfer/). The installation has no trouble running recon-all; however, when I try to run qdec, I get vtk errors (see below): ERRO

Hi John, It seems weird that you are using .mgz files (this suffix is for volume files) with mri_surf2surf (whose inputs should be surfaces). Also, it seems that several of the options you are trying I don't believe exist at least according to the wiki (e.g. -cortex -fwhm). Are you sure you are us

Hello, The code in read_patch.m seems strange in the following versions 4.0.1 & 4.3.0. I could be wrong, but usually you have a section at the top describing it, and it doesn't seem to be declared as a function. I have checked the Release Notes and there doesn't seem to be a description of th

Hi Devdutta, I'm fairly certain (i.e. correct me if I'm wrong people) that this average brain looks correct. Some of the gyri and sulci are more pronounced on the group inflated cortex than on the individuals, because in the averaging process these are more consistent across participants (lik

Hi, I have a question (I believe about mri_surf2surf). First, I'll describe my goal: I want to take a surface created with mri_tessellate and modified with mris_smooth and convert it to an isomorphic equally subdivided icosahedron (like mri_watershed creates). e.g. take the lh.smseghead created

Hello, I am configuring a Freesurfer installation for two different types of computers (headless servers and workstations). For both sets of computers we want any non-OpenGL commands that are run to first go through python scripts which load balance (these are working fine); however we have
