Emily,
mri_surf2surf should do what you need. Use the --help flag for
description and examples.

hi,
i'm trying to map the functional data from each of my subjects into a
common space on the surface. i have moved my volume functionals into
icosahedron space for two subjects and then converted to a .asc text file
but the text files show that the two datasets have a different number of
nodes (1
Hi Akram,
Can you copy one of these subjects to:
/space/tensor/14/users/jenni/testdir
and I will play with it and see what I can do - I have some scripts that
might do something.

Hi,
I'm running everything on thigpen.
setenv SUBJECTS_DIR /space/thigpen/8/users/akram/ADNI_processing
I'm having trouble fixing the talairach of these 4 subjects: 005_S_0572
023_S_0030 116_S_0382 126_S_0405
I've tried:
mri_convert brainmask.mgz brainmask.mnc
mritotal -protocol icbm brainma
I don't think recon-all uses any sym links. I can mod the average subj
script to copy instead of link.

Hi Juergen,
use the mri/aseg.mgz volume. And no thickness or surface area of hippo -
just volume at the moment.
cheers,

Hi Bogdan,
I may have missed the beginning of this conversation - so I'm not sure what
the initial problem was - but I don't think that the recon-all stream
creates any symbolic links, so everything you ran should be ok. Have you
looked at the outputs, do they look ok?

Hi Juergen,
If you ran recon-all -all, you should have a file called aseg.stats in your
/stats directory. This will contain information (volume,
intensity) from the automatic segmentation (aseg.mgz) for all the structures
we label.
There are no surfaces generated for the hippocampus, so there
Hi Doug,
while trying to expand the volume of my virtual machine to be able to

data with recon_all might be affected somehow by the fact symbolic links
were not supported (the data was located on a mounted drive). The only
Dear Freesurfer users
I tried to compute the hippocampal volume with the following command:
mri_label_volume
but which is the most appropriate volume to label?
Is there also an opportunity to measure thickness and surface area of the
hippocampi?
I had run recon-all -all, but cannot find the
