No. USB is related to the UHCI (USB 1.0), OHCI (USB 1.1), EHCI (USB 2.0),
WHCI (Wireless USB) and XHCI (USB 3.0). AHCI is an interface for SATA
controllers.

I made an install of freedos 1.0 from bootable cd following screen instruction
without any problem.
I tried different cdrom driver (XCDROM.SYS, GCDROM.SYS).
I get this message :
