I use dos qpro 3 daily. I have qpro 5.6 but version 3 is
better. Some things work well in version 3 but not 5.6.
Version 5.6 uses books which has some imperfection.
I did my US taxes using version 3.

You should be able to use WKS which is older than WK1 and is the original
Lotus 1-2-3 format.
You can also try WK2, WK3 and WK4. I don't know if Quattro supported those
but I recall those were later versions of the common spreadsheet data file
of the era.
