Hi!
This is (most probably) a php coding issue and not e FreeBSD related issue
per se.
I would look into what type of application you run on your website and the
permissions you have on your files. Check if there is something that can
be upgraded. I know that at least phpBB2 had these issues in

Hi.
I have problem when probing the ciss device. Causing a kernel panic. This
happened when I upgraded from 6.3 to 7.3-stable. Booting the old kernel
works. So something has changed. I am also getting the error on both the
7.3 and the 8.0 install cd's.
The ciss that causing the problem is a Smar

Hi.
I have recently upgraded the server from 6.X -> Latest 6.X -> 7.2. But
after the upgrade it boots OK once and after that it freezes.
Verbose boot give me these lines:

What else can I do to help you to figure this out?

Hi,
there are a lot of different errors in various document regarding acpi
that are wrong.
In 'man acpi' it says that 'hint.acpi.0.disabled' should be placed in
loader.conf.

I have several boxes that I have upgraded from 5.3 to 5.4 and has stopped
using the HTT virtal CPU's. This have been going on for a while. the
oldest is dated 20050519 and the latest is yesterday.
Is there something that I have missed? Been using same configs for 5.3
without any problems.

Hi,
Just upgraded from 5.4 to 6.0 and hyperthreading stoped working.
Everything looks ok, but it doesn't use two of the logical CPU's.
Is it only an error in showing the stats, or isn't it working on all 4
"cpus"?
One other thing is when I try to switch off hyperthreading in BIOS, it
will hang

The system crashes without polling enabled. That I added afterwards. With
it enabled it crashes not so often as without polling.
I'll try a GENERIC kernel with debuging enabled.

Try adding a lot of disk IO too. I believe that the problem lays within

Hi,
I have a linux based server application that crashes every now and then.
This server is threaded. And I dont believe its a FreeBSD problem, since
the same hardware runs other linux based server apps in threaded mode,
without problems.
Never the less, it runs on FreeBSD and I want to know how
