I always tee the output of portupgrade to a file so, if it dies in the

Maybe I am wrong, setting network_interfaces is the way I found I had to
use to be able to rename cloned interfaces.

I'm trying to use a virtual floppy from FreeBSD 7 (both 7-STABLE and
7_2_RELEASE) in a VMWare test installation.
Both running fdformat on a fresh floppy image and trying to mount a
preformatted one, I get errors like:
g_vfs_done():fd0[READ(offset=0, length=8192)]error = 6
Of course, after
IC.
Hope this helps,

As of today (2006-sep-16) the problem is solved in both 7-CURRENT and
6-STABLE (soon to be 6.2-RELEASE), I verified personally with 2
home-built snapshot CDROMs.
I think this PR can be closed (FIXED).

It's a small bug in 5.x after 5.2.1-RELEASE. Please look for a simple

Am I dreaming, or hasn't the practice always been to rename the RELENG_6
kernel back to 6-STABLE (or whatever) just after the RELENG_6_x branch?
Right now it's still labelled 6.2-PRERELEASE.
Regards,
Angelo.
