Hello All,
I upgrade a very old machine from 6.3-RELEASE to 8.1-RELEASE by
'freebsd-update'. After boot with 8.1 GENERIC kernel, it holds-on at
''Entropy harvesting: '. I try to change configuration in
/etc/defaults/rc.conf, it helpless.
harvest_interrupt="NO" # Entropy device harvests interrupt
Change to configuration to solve this problem:
#server.network-backend = "freebsd-sendfile"
server.network-backend = "writev"

Hello,
I have 4 web servers with lighttpd to serve one web site with DNS load
sharing. On the 2 SMP-enable web servers, there will be many php-cgi frozen
in 'sbwait' state every day. It means the php-cgi stay in 'sbwait' state,
and never be back to 'accept' or other state. If I restart them, ther
I have the similar problem when FreeBSD 7 client + FreeBSD 6 server.
Now, I use ' mount_nfs -L' on the client to do local locking only. Of
course, it may cause other problem.

Hi,
The NFS server is running FreeBSD 6.0, and no problems with other NFS client
with FreeBSD 6.
When a new client with FreeBSD 7 comes, the NFS server always says:

Hello,
I upgrade from 6.2 to 7.0 on this Intel SR2400 server, then it panic after
mounting storage when boot with 7.0 kernel.
I don't leave enough space for core dumping, so I should get nothing more
for the panic. Any way to gather enough information for bug reporting?

This could be because you hit a bug. It is also possible that this binary

I can confirm this problem. Normally sig11 is an indication that you
have hardware-related problems, but in this particular case (at least in
my experience), it can also be caused by some lack-of loader.conf
tunables permitting mysqld to allocate
After moving the database from Linux 2.4 to FreeBSD 6.2, the mysqld crash
very frequently! I think the problem is on FreeBSD when myusql is heaving
loading.
I have another same machine with lower loading, the mysql is stable.
