to update their RELENG_4 -STABLE systems for the next 2-3 days. Right

I am using pptpclient with the userland PPP daemon, and have been
occasionally encountering the following situation:
* for some reason, the data link layer (here, a PPTP tunnel)
goes down;
* ppp closes the LCP...
