playing movies with mplayer on my freebsd 6.0/amd64 now, not user. But vlc
is fine for both. I guess there is some audio wrapper issue but couldn't put
a finger on it, any idea?

I was using sysinstall's disklabel facility to poke around. I
accidentally did "Undo" on my installed 6.0 working slice.
Now, the mount points for my partitions fail to appear, even though I did
not "write" them. I just exited sysinstall.
The odd thing is that the system shows no adverse effects

Some specific drivers do not work on such systems. FreeBSD itself has
no problems.

For some reason, whenever I run thunderbird it segfaults and core
dumps. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but that didn't have
any effect.
