i got my xerox 3110 working
i downloaded foomatic-rip and foomatic-gswrapper to my /usr/local/bin
i also dload Samsung-ML-1210-gdi.ppd into /usr/local/lib
chmod 755 for both files
edit my printcap
lp|Xerox Phaser 3110:\
:lp=/dev/ulpt0:\
:af=/usr/local/lib/Samsung-ML-1

You need foomatic-rip which is not part of the ports system.
