First pango needs updated to 1.43.0 (out 12.december 2018). I make a
"quick try". It has not this error with this version, but has a similar
error in utils/test/meson.build (I did not really looked into it yet).

The update to 1.43.0 works. I forgot to remove some old patches.
But this had to be tested with ports are depend on pango.

This is on a new system/install with firefox-66.0.5,1. When I try t run
firefox it fails with this error message:

The system does have the omni.ja file installed:
