Hi everyone!
In my current installation of TeXlive (texlive-base-20140525_3) there
is no command etex. This is a problem, as some packages and programs
rely on etex (e.g. metapost).
I am not sure which port to install to have an etex program again.
Also I just noticed fmtutil-sys --all does n
Is there anyone, other than me obviously, that has a problem updating the
"net-im/telepathy-qt4" port.
The build log is located here:

It is already there:

Hi all,
I've been having problems with portmaster being aborted because of
failed attempts of pkg to obtain a lock. The same problem occurs
with pkg and pkg-devel (I installed pkg-devel to check whether it
was due to an already fixed problem in pkg-1.3.8).
Other possibly relevant machine details:
Thanks for the report; I'll have a look and update the port within the
weekend.

Dear port maintainer,
The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more of your
ports appears to be out of date. Please take the opportunity to check
each of the ports listed below, and if possible and appropriate,
submit/commit an update. If any ports have already been updated, you

The "net-im/telepathy-glib" port fails to build. It continues to a certain
point, and then goes into an endless loop.
This is repeated endlessly:

TelepathyGLib-0.12.gir:42725.1-42725.0: error:
I just compiled new ports which gave me perl5.18 instead of my
previous 5.16.
Some ports (like rsnapshot) refused to build, stating they required 5.16.
spampd however didn't complain.
After upgrading my spam-machine with the new ports, spampd won't start. :(

I managed to get the update of linux_base-c6-6.6 to linux_base-c6-6.6_1
done, but it involved a couple of failed attempts along the way,
and it looks to me as if portmaster didn't get the sequence of
operations quite correct the first time through... and that the
success appears to have been at lea

Hi Mathieu,
Thank you for responding. I've thought about this over the last few
days a bit, and I first want to commend you for the large efforts you
and your collaborators are making to improve the port system. Already
I have noticed positive changes, very impressive. Further comments
inline.
