Hi,
It seems like in that case I can get rid off the GCC versions of
10-CURRENT. Going through redports I can see that they don't run GCC/CLANG
for HEAD except 9.
dim,
Yeap I will keep it for both in 9-RELEASE. Everybody has, it's upto you
that how far you wanna go. :P. I can see that still my res
I've just been looking at devel/rubygem-multi_json and was
perplexed by how it wasn't saving my options.
It seems that how the new port options infrastructure determines
where to load and store its configured options from is quite

Dear port maintainer,
The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more of your
ports appears to be out of date. Please take the opportunity to check
each of the ports listed below, and if possible and appropriate,
submit/commit an update. If any ports have already been updated, you
Whom can I send a crash dump?
Thanks.

Hi,
In pkg-install.in it's said if POSTFIX_DEFAULT_MTA=YES then postfix will
be set as default mailer in /etc/mail/mailer.conf
So, I do export POSTFIX_DEFAULT_MTA=YES but the only thing it does is
setting the default answer to yes.
So is it possible to make the installation fully automated, with
So I have a port, math/sage, which now contains in Makefile the line
USE_TEX=tetex
I have intalled the texlive ports. So now if I try to install
math/sage, it gives me error messages about CONFLICTS, which I think
arise from the fact that math/sage thinks that it has to first install

The subject line pretty much says it all.
As I explained here the other day, numerous of my installed ports
have semi-mysteriously had their corresponding +CONTENTS files
just disappear. I do have a backup of my /var partition, from which
I could, in theory, fetch replacements for the specific +
So... trying to trim down dependencies in a ports build and I'm
confused as to why unzip in base (it's been in base for ~5 years)
isn't a sufficient replacement for archivers/unzip in ports. It
doesn't seem like we're doing anything incredibly complicated with
archivers/unzip, so I would think

I've identified the bug.
When I set LANG environment variable, ptex works.
If LANG is not set, fnmatch() called in default_kanji_enc() in ptexenc.c
does not return.
Although this might be a bug of fnmatch library, ptexenc.c should also
treat the case.

In 10-Current + pkgng all you need is to set in make.conf:
WITH_CCACHE_BUILD=yes
Same goes for poudriere environment - no need for "CC=.${CC.." in
poudriere jail make.conf. If something fails during the poudriere build, I
try several work-arounds on host before posting to the mail list.

You are unfortunately stuck between a rock and a hard place IMHO.
While pkgng has this tool with # pkg check -adrs
" -a Process all packages
-B is used to reanalyse SHLIBS of installed packages. See pkg.conf(5) for
more information on SHLIBS.
-d is used to check for and install missing depe
