Thanks for you help guys, I have done what you both suggested and are
stuck again.
I've simplified the steps to compile this port manually to these steps:
# tar zxvf pdfedit-0.3.1.tar.bz2
# cd pdfedit-0.3.1
Edit src/utils/Makefile INCPATH line and add '-I/usr/local/include' to the end.

Hello.
I have fixed the problem together with the NTFS-3G 1.1004 update. A
part of the fix involves fusefs-kmod and needs maintainer approval, but
is trivial. See below for the details.

The patch is working well for me so far. This was the first time I've ever used
a .diff to patch something myself.

Maybe your checkouts.cvs file got corrupted?
rm -rf /usr/ports /var/db/sup/ports-all
and retry.

Hi there,
I keep receiving the same TreeList failure. Any clues what I can do to
fix it so I can cvsup the entire ports tree
Cheers,

Is anyone else using Xfce4 having lockup problems after the new GNOME
update? Xfce goes away after clicking on the taskbar, or starting gimp.
The machine is still alive. Killing X with Ctrl-Alt-Backspace and
re-running it works until the next lockup.
System updated as described in /usr/port

I'm having issues with six or seven ports installing. I've traced it back to
two ports that are having issues, one of which is libXfont.
The version I've got installed is:
evolution# pkg_info -Ix libXfont
libXfontcache-1.0.4 The Xfontcache library
The version in ports is 1.3.1
Here's my log:
Dear all,
is not my usual behavior to stress for a patch to be committed, but this
time I think it's different.
ports/117488 solves a problem with the sysutils/screen port where the
man page doesn't get installed.
My point is that having a software installed without its man page is a

So I've discovered the source of the problem which I reported
earlier this week. It's shared library conflict: heimdal-1.0.1
installs it's own newer libasn1.so.8 into /usr/local/lib,
but kauth tries to use /usr/lib/libasn1.so.8 instead, which
doesn't have oid_id_pkcs1_rsaEncryption. How about bumpi
Try recompiling all the dependent libs for php-imagemagick,
usually whenever I've had this problem it was from old incompatible lib
calls.

Until sysutils/lsof is updated for 8.x, try this when
running your portupgrade:
