Here is the revised implementation for the interface description
feature, based on feedback from src-...@.
Some limitations:
* Not yet able to send announce through route socket. I need to
figure out a proper way to do this, maybe a future feature;

It's well past old. You're unlikely to get any help on this since 5.x
is EOL and 5.1 isn't even close to the latest release on that branch.
I would be happy to be proven wrong though.
