Patch (WIP): New security front matter; new shell redirection section

Hi, After talking to a few people, I've written up two new sections, one is a huge cleanup of the security chapter and the second adds a shell redirection section to the handbook. Right now I'm seeking some comments and suggestions here. Want to commit sometime this week. Cheers, -- Tom Rhode
