ED=NO might be interfearing with WITH_DYNAMICROOT, but I'm not sure
how to find out if that is true/false. Anybody know what is going on?
Thanks in advance,

Did you ever consider that your doing exactly what phk's logo protests? ;)
Maybe that is why phk hasn't responded any further, because he's laughing
at you! You have to admit that is just a bit ironic.

Howdy list,
For some time now I've have an issue with a dell laptop I use. It spews a
bunch of kernel junk after init is spawned, and the spew causes my dmesg
to become too full to actually produce a file I can send to the list that
is meaningfull. But I'm tired of the spew, so I've decided to pr
to yank/paste the example
incorrectly from the BLACKHOLE(4) manual, because I also included the
"sysctl" word at the begining of the two lines. To error is human, but
this is utter comedy if you ask me. =)
I'm now able to use dmesg again, wuhoo!
Thanks!

I can confirm this on i386, and sparc also.
This is a semi-anoying hickup for those who wish to make tiny root-msf

etc.
I belive PHK is/was looking for the root cause of this, which was a thread
that had something to do with bs

I figured now would be a good place to chime in about WDS.
Thanks phk,
May I use this in wifibsd without any copywrite dramma?
Your beer-ware license, or bsd license, is asumed.
I was engineering my own script that does the same job, if you care to
colaborate, you may see it at:

Mine is still a work in progre

Plan ahead next time. Maybe take a backup, and remove redundancies or
unnecessary files. You could simply resize your s

All the libs required for /bin or /sbin have moved to /lib. Like this:

Yes, You need to exploit the notion of booting from another root
filesystem, mounting the broken root, and then taking corrective action on
the corrupted files.
The easy way is to grab a recent livecd from the jp sna

I'm able to reproduce a panic on demand. I simply insert my IBM Microdrive
CF card into the PCM/CIA slot of the laptop, which is a Dell CPi, and
panic! I build a kernel.debug in the hope somebody can help me analyze the
back-trace.
Oh by the way, the sources from this backtrace are from 11/27/2003
