FWIW, I still use that a lot. I agree it seems like abandonware

glimpse
I use glimpse a lot. I really depend on it as I have relevant emails
dating back 25 years or more and would otherwise not be able to find
them.

To be honest, it's now many years that I use "find" instead of "glimpse".
Find is so powerfull and processors performances helps a lot.

IMAP is one of my goals for nmh (which is really what you'd need to get
IMAP into exmh, I think, unless you want to rewrite exmh).
