hi when you multiply by 1, xl converts it to date. Try this in excel, put this formula cell E2 =DATE(20&RIGHT(D2,2),3,31), now goto format cell & change date format to dd/mmm/yy or any other format, result wont change. Now in next celll put formula =E2*1 & now goto format cell & change date form
