It's because, for the code to organize the data in ascending order first
reverses the order of characters (see below). And as we can see "K010B" is
less than "K100"
Hi Tom, could you give an idea of the variation of characters as quantity
and characteristics, so I can study the possibilities?
Hello Experts:
Thank you for your time.
I have a large workbook. The first page contains many checkboxes - a few
primary ones, some secondary, others tertiary, etc. The user is to see only
the primary ones, then depending on his selection, specific secondary
checkboxes should appear. If he
It's all working well in the master sheet! except we've reached batch 10
and that batch is going to the top of the list rather than the bottom ie.
*B010K * 001K 002K 003K B004K B005K B006K 007K 008K 009K

The other issue: To use this code in another workbook, you need ->
Press Alt + F11, click on "Module1" and copy the entire code. In another
workbook, do the same thi
Sorry, i should have explained better, the batch number can go up to about
400 over the year, so it needs to be able to order data from 001K all
the way up to 400K (any of the numbers could be B???K or TN???K as well...)
does that help?
Thanks
Tom

Sorry I'm not understanding what you mean by "One thing, once the data gets
to 10 or 100 they skip to the top of the column (ie batch 100K or 010K) is
this just what will happen or can it be changed?"

Hi Basole,
I have no idea how you've done that but its saved me a lot of work! One
thing, once the data gets to 10 or 100 they skip to the top of the column
(ie batch 100K or 010K) is this just what will happen or can it be changed?
Also how would i go about copying this into a different workbook
Please see below, anyone able to offer some advice?
