Is there a way to define a listbox entry. So that the defined entry
could represent an abitrary group of cells or a defined range?
So say I create a defined range that has A3,A5, B2,B3,B4 and called it
Group1.
Could I in the listbox entry create a name say NewName that epresent
the defined group

If you are using Excel 2007 then
1. Right-click on the status bar ( Excel 2007)
2. You will get Average, Count, Sum option
3. Select Sum
The sum will be displayed in the status bar.

If you are speaking about Status bar that you cant find the sum, Then right
click on Status Bar and select SUM;

Try using =CONCATENATE(C2&D2) in Column E and then the Vlookup in F.
It should work.
