One thing that is annoying me supremely with Evo these days is how wide
the display of HTML messages is. It's very often wider than the preview
window I use (which is plenty wide enough... probably about 45% of my
wide-screen display) which means text is filled to that width and I'm

Believe that this is a problem with Evolution (at least 3.20.5).

the IMAPx's implementation of quick resync sometimes doesn't work well
with certain servers. I would disable

Thanks Milan. I've not had a buildable version of Evo here for a number
of years so currently I'm not able to try the patch, but I've added
myself as a CC on the bug.

Hi Milan,
I tested a few more things and got to a point, where I could see my
messages - but only for a short time.
I went to the INBOX of this account - the counter is 5 in the meantime,
but still no messages.
Because all messages have the string "test" in the subject, I entered

What do you mean by that? Do you mean that you highlighted the root of
the account folder? The line that basically contains your email
address? If so, then nothing is ever shown at that level, it's just

Hi Pete,
Thanks for the tips.
I did some test:
1: Type simple mail with PDF attachment mailed to myself.
2: hit [Send]
3: Email received.
Do step 1 to 3 several times.
The results are different.
First mail at 08:13: Everything OK, P
