Hi,
I'm new to evolution and trying to use it as client for an exchange 2003
in a mixed environment (linux/windows).
I succeeded in configuring the account (although it takes a while during
setup authentication before I can continue), however I'm having troubles
adding a shared calendar.
I'm usi
Hi,
The current keyboard shortcut to go to the next unread message doesn't
work between folders. Is this the expected behavior? Is this a bug? Is
there any way to do this (configuration/plugin/hack)?
Thanks and regards,

Hi All,
I have searched the archives for a while, and found nothing like my
request. I have a 40Gb HDD with Mandriva 2006 and Evo has been my Right
Hand Tool since before version 1. I have put an 80Gb HDD into my
computer now, and have tried to get my .evolution file to the new drive
through a U
Hi Back,
I've been lurking long enough and will take a stab at answering this for
you.
Since you are in windows as well, let's find your directory server there
first.
When you are running outlook, on the ion in your lower right hand icon
bar, hold down the "ctrl" button and right clic
Hello
I kind of have a strange problem after upgrading an openSuse

But now, evolution keeps asking me for the passwords to my account every
time it does something. This is really annoying. Has anyone g
Hi Pieter,
Thanks for using Evolution.

Hi Jim,
Not exactly - until we know the difference between .12 and .13. We can assume
(safely) that it wouldn't have had any API/ABI breaks as evolution is running.

Hi Roland,
Evolution 2.8.x stores password in Gnome-keyring. Please take a look at
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=222479 which discusses about this
problem and has a solution too. W.r.t password dialogs, yes, it is by-design a
non-modal dialog. We are evaluating this design deci
Hi to all,
I'm a new mwmber of the list. I've just installed opensuse 10.2, evolution is
no more working with my office exchange server. I'm not able to let it work.
With version 2.6 it was great. Where is the problem ?
Any time I try to login I get an error message like this:

looks like https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=222479 (mentioned
by veerapuram) is the same as
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383861 which was filed a few
weeks later.
i really wonder if novell has a bugmaster who reports gnome bugs
upstream to b.g.o, like the most common other d
Thanks for the tip!
It works fine when connecting directly to the corporate network. When over
the internet (no vpn), it doesn't, because they use a private domain name
for the server. Does your GAL work over the internet?
Thanks again

I'm looking for where to modify by hand the spamassassin settings. I
thought that the /etc/init.d/spamassassin file was it, but
ps -ef | egrep spamd
shows that there is an evolution specific spamd running, and not my
global spamd.
I've perused through ~/.evolution files to no avail.

Thanks for the reply. I can ping the GC server from the computer that is
running evolution. My computer and the GC server are both inside of the only
firewall that I know of, but the GC server is inaccessible from outside my
company's network. I've been able to search the global catalog address bo

The only thing that I've ever found that's reliable is to Log Out of
GNOME, and then from a console vt run rsync to push my entire home
directory from one box to the other. Anything sh
