This was very helpful. I discovered that some of these files had not
been loaded in even though YAST said that they were. I re-loaded the
files and they showed up as options in my gnome-pilot but when I try to
sync, it crashes my Palm!!! I tried to narrow down the problem:

Thanks! That was exactlt what I needed. For some reason, even though YAST
claimed all of the files had been loaded in, the gnome related files were not
on my system. I reloaded all the conduit file and now everything seems to be
working beautifully.

Still the same. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe someone can give me a
list of the files that must be installed for these elements to show up
in Gnome-Pilot so that I can verify that I have them all?
