This was very helpful. I discovered that some of these files had not been loaded in even though YAST said that they were. I re-loaded the files and they showed up as options in my gnome-pilot but when I try to sync, it crashes my Palm!!! I tried to narrow down the problem: If I choose synch for a small file like memo - no crash of the Palm but not data gets transferred - only blank entries appear on either side. If I try to copy to Palm for Calendar or Contacts, I crash. Is there a reason entries but no data in the entries is transferring?
