Absolutely not.
I am suffering terribly. I have tried blaming spam filters - bug
with all the plugins disabled it still happens. Thunderbird still shows
the mail for me...
I guess you are using evo-exchange?

Hello all,
I tried to configure evo 2.22 to use my gmail account. This
has 63000 emails, 3Gb, in 1 folder. (Google are good at searches,
right :)
However, evo reads about 6% and then times out. This is on an
excellent high-bandwidth link). Does anyone expect it to be able to

Hello guys,
I am trying to compile evolution on a FC6/x86_64 box. I never
tried 64 bit before. On 32 bit I have to pass:
with-openldap=/usr/lib/evolution-openldap
to the evo configure scripts. I change this
to /usr/lib64/evolution-openldap but somehow it seems to be ingnored.

Hello guys,
I am using evo 2.9.6 with the gnome keyring manager. This has
a major improvement - when I log in from home (outside corporate
firewall) the old system used to hang for 60s until it decided the GAL
ldap server did not exist. Now it starts immediately - great.
However, th

Hi guys,
I am confused compiling evo 2.9.4. I need to get ldap with ntlm.
I am on Fedora 6, using
configure --with-openldap=/usr/lib/evolution-openldap --with-static-ldap
which is what is in the spec file for the rpms, and should pick up
Fedora's modified ldap with ntlm.
It doesn't, beca

Hi P_roq,
Yup, its a disaster.
You need 2.6.1. You can get it by:
rpm -e evolution-data-server evolution-connector evolution gnome-panel
yum install evolution-data-server-1.6.1-1.fc5.2
evolution-connector-2.6.1-1.fc5.1 evolution-2.6.1-1.fc5.2
gnome-panel-2.14.1-1.fc5.1
But then nex
Hello there,
I am using evolution-connector-2.6.1-1.fc5.1, ,and have a
problem with exchange. When I book a conference room on an exchange 2003
server at work the booking is seen by the server as 'private' while
evolution has it ticked as 'public'. The conference room is then not

Hello guys,
Does anyone know whether evolution 2.6 can be run
on a RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 system, without fiddling with glib
etc?
The package config requires glib > 2.6, and I have glib2-2.2.3
I don't want to upgrade this feature if I can avoid it.
Thank you,
Hello list,
I have a problem with ldap authentication, probably related
to having to change my password recently. Basically, I always get an
error 31, authentication credentials failed. This is using the evo 2.6
on fedora 5.
I made a test account, and there everything worked fine. S

Hello guys,
I have found evolution (esp. evolution-exchange)
essential, but always buggy, so I keep trying out new version. I
have 2.3.7, 2.4.0, 2.4.1 and a cvs-head and have been switching
between them.
In the process I seem to have go
