Yup, its a disaster.
You need 2.6.1. You can get it by:
rpm -e evolution-data-server evolution-connector evolution gnome-panel
yum install evolution-data-server-1.6.1-1.fc5.2
evolution-connector-2.6.1-1.fc5.1 evolution-2.6.1-1.fc5.2
gnome-panel-2.14.1-1.fc5.1
But then next time you upgrade it will be wiped, so you need
exclude=evolution*,gnome-panel*
in /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo
