Hi,
I tried it once. I am using 2.10.3 on F7
Go to Calendar menu. Select your calendar. Use right click and select
"save to disk". It will save as .ics.
You can import .ics in Outlook.

This email is actually encouraging me to ask my old unsolved question.
Is there any way to sync Windows 5.0 PDAs (I am using O2) with

Hi,
You can not sort records in the child window (opened after pressing
"To"). However if you enter last name in "search" it will show matching
records.
Also if you start typing initial characters of last name in "To:" field
it will show you matching records. Evolution has a good "Auto complete
Hi,
The process is as follows :
Select Edit-->Preference-->Composer preference and Signature tab. You
can create multiple signature here each with different tag names.
Signature can contain necessary information, logo, HTML link etc.
Now while composing a message select "Signature" drop down

Hi,
I am looking for one more feature which I had observed in Outlook.
In my calendar view. I have "Day" view of the Calendar along with the
"Task" on the right hand side. The problem is it shows all tasks and
not tasks specific to that Day.
Is it possible to get "Day" view of the calendar a

Hi,
After 4 years of working with Evolution , I had to temporarily shift to
Outlook. I am happy that after a month I am able to shift back to
evolution.
While working with Outlook few things struck me :
1. All Outlook feature (I required) are present in Evolution.
2. The GUI in Outlook is
May be an issue with an older version of Evo or the plug-in.
I am using the same plug-in in Evo 2.10.3 on FC7 and not facing this
problem. When I "right click" a message and select "Convert to task" it
opens various tasks list. I can then select a particular task list from

Hi ,
I am using Wireless connectivity at home for evolution. I didn't have to
make any change in Evolution. Once you are connected to internet through
WiFi, evolution works smoothly.
May be you need to check if your network settings for WiFi.

Hi,
I found "Convert to task" plugin very useful. I would like to suggest an
enhancement.
Currently the plugin converts your received messages in to tasks. It
would be nice if the feature is extended so that you can convert a task
before sending a message. Generally you would like to follow-up
Thanks . It worked. BTW can you change the evolution background also ?

Hi,
I have seen a thread on this subject, but don't have a copy. I would
appreciate if somebody can point me towards the discussion thread.
I am using Evo. 2.10.3 on FC7. I would like to change the font size of
toolbars, messages, folders etc. Is that possible ?

I am glad somebody started this thread. I had a query few months back
similar to this.
I am using O2 (Windows Mobile) and unable to sync with evolution.
Somebody suggested me a solution but it required good amount of tech
knowledge to make it work.
It would be nice if Evolution offers built-in
Hi ,
I solved the problem by moving few plug-in .so files to another
temporary directory.
Thanks

Hi,
After working successfully with various e-plugins for a long time, I
suddenly started facing a problem. My evolution crashes when I open it
from menu.
I have figured out that it opens successfully when I use a command :
evolution --disable-eplugin. However with this I am not able to use

Hi,
When you view a calendar in a "day-view", you get to view tasks also on
the right-hand side. However the view shows all tasks.
It would be better if you get view of tasks pertaining to that date.
Is there any solution for this ?

Hi,
I am using Evolution 2.10.3 on Fedora7.
When you select a feature "print preview" in Calender / Task window, it
shows the preview in a pdf format. Also it doesn't include multiple
pages.
I don't think in earlier version of evolution, we used to get pdf
preview of calender / task.
