This has started recently past day or two.
Whenever I open any contact evolution crashes. I am running 2.32.3.
The following is the terminal output when evolution is started and I
immediately open an appointment.

The side bar is now wider than I would like (and wider than it was
before the upgrade). I can make it even wider by the handle but even
at the narrowest permitted it is wider than I loke.

Thanks very much. This was what was needed. I had moved
.gconf/apps/evolution, but did not shutdown gconf-tool2 (I did
remember to force-shutdown evolution).
After a later reboot, everything worked--but I didn't know why.

Something is screwed up with my user after upgrading gnome on gentoo
(basically no gnome app starts).
While I am figuring it out, I created a new user and everything works.
So I copied over my gnucash directory and all is well for gnucash.
I copied .evolution and the contacts and tasks work fine.
If I have an all day event for say 3 march 2006 I get the reminder 5
hours earlier and it says the event is from
7pm 2 march to 7pm 3 march
Since my timezone is GMT-5 (Eastern US), there seems to be a localtime
vs gmt problem, but I can't find it.
