I just updated to evolution 1.12.1 (I use gentoo, but I don't think that is relevant).
The side bar is now wider than I would like (and wider than it was before the upgrade). I can make it even wider by the handle but even at the narrowest permitted it is wider than I loke. The culprit is the top line of the side bar which now (in workweek mode) reads icon ... Mon 19 Nov - Fri 23 Nov 2007 The icon and three dots don't seem to do anything and the date could be shortened. 19 Nov - 23 Nov would be fine for me. Is there any way I can either 1. Customize this line 2. Omit the line 3.
