I gained access to my addressbook by copying a backup of my .evolution directory into the home directory of a virtual machine that was running Fedora 11. So I backed up the settings (File->Backup Settings) which was about 29MB of data, scp'ed it back to my workstation and attempted to restore

Much better! I did the upgrade using the openSuse YAST update application on my laptop, upgrading all of GNOME to the current stable version. There were only 5 or 6 conflicts that needed addressing. My desk top, however had 30-40 conflicts...I aborted this upgrade. Has anyone tried Zypper w/succes
