How would I go about word wrapping the descriptions? I notice that they
go off the screen. I have to hit the return key for each sentence to
have its own line.

Seems like the folders.db file was corrupt. Can I safely remove the
.evolution/mail/spool/var/mail/'user'/INBOX file, since it is the same
as /var/mail/'user' to save space.l It was not present earlier, I
copied it there! cp -p /var/mail/'user' .evolution/.../'user'/INBOX.

Seems like an old problem has come back without any changes ( updates,
etc.) to program - telling the truth. :-)
When I click on mail to view it in it's own window I get a flash of it
on the screen and then its... gone.
Note: I DO NOT have "Message Display" checked - [ ] Mark

How to enable the external viewers for pdf attachments in Evo?
If people attach the files as a "PDF document attachment" it can be
viewed with an external viewer, like evince or xpdf. As learnt recently
this can be controlled by opening a .pdf document using the file viewer
in Nautilus. BTW: H
I am running mint 7 Gloria (which is more or less Ubuntu 9.04 with evo
2.26.1). I installed it just few days ago (fresh install). Everything works
well except evolution mail notification - I am not getting new mail
notification in the panel notification area even though I enabled mail

Yes, it's called IMAP and is used to display mail that is on a remote
computer.
