can anybody help me with this? Every time I try to send/receive with
google mail I get the following error message:
Error while fetching mail.
Could not connect to pop.googlemail.com: SSL unavailable

I actually have the same problem and have yet to find a solution.
Running verion 2.8.0 (Cent OS 5.0 distributed package).
I also can't go into Edit->Preferences.
I can use E-Mail and Contacts.

I don't think Milan has the answer as I see this same behavior when
converting Outlook generated RTF formatted emails to Tasks using
Evolution.
The behavior I am seeing is that when Evo encounters RTF formatted
messages it converts them to HTML, but displays the the resulting task
as raw HTML.

as plain text. If you change it to "Content-Type: text/html", then it
will be shown as you expect. That's the reason, I guess.
