[Evolution] Gmail: SSL unavailable error message

I actually have the same problem and have yet to find a solution. Running verion 2.8.0 (Cent OS 5.0 distributed package). I also can't go into Edit->Preferences. I can use E-Mail and Contacts. Eric Raskin ---

I don't think Milan has the answer as I see this same behavior when converting Outlook generated RTF formatted emails to Tasks using Evolution. The behavior I am seeing is that when Evo encounters RTF formatted messages it converts them to HTML, but displays the the resulting task as raw HTML.
