I don't think Milan has the answer as I see this same behavior when
converting Outlook generated RTF formatted emails to Tasks using
Evolution.

The behavior I am seeing is that when Evo encounters RTF formatted
messages it converts them to HTML, but displays the the resulting task
as raw HTML.  

IF, as Milan points out, this is because it tags it as text/plain, this
is an evolution bug.
