Run Evolution and e-d-s from console and see if any error log messages
printed on the console when you try to create the contact.

folder, evolution will cause "Blocks received from a block device" (bi
column in vmstat) to max out and it will stay high until I kill
evolution.

deserting RedHat (after 8 years) as I have found that Ubuntu is a very

I am using evolution to connect to exchange server using http protocol
and it happens occasionally that evolution hangs (when I want to accept
a meeting for example). When I kill evolution and restart, it refuses to
accept (correct) passwords and eventually I have to delete the account
