Hello Sara - I recommend the Kenwood MC-43S microphone. It plugs straight into the K2 microphone connector and gives excellent quality. The MC-43S has UP and DOWN buttons which, when used with the K2, changes between VFO A and B. This is very useful for contest working. I hope that helps.
